In this experience\, our dedicated and highly skilled team will show you a variety of fire-making skills\, wilderness cookery techniques\, and the safe use of edged tools. We will be creative\, craft useful camp utensils\, and build shelters that you’ll have the opportunity to sleep in. SUMMARY:Our Bushcraft Weekend Course
DESCRIPTION:Gather around the campfire and join us this weekend for a wonderful experience. Whether you are an absolute beginner or more experienced\, you are all very welcome here at basecamp. Our experience begins on Friday evening. After a welcome brief\, we will show you how to prepare and cook ‘Forest fish and chips’ – Rainbow trout cooked on the fire\, using the Canadian Fish flag method.  \nThroughout the weekend you will develop your Bush crafting skills\, learning how to become more self-sufficient in the wild. We will show you how to prepare and cook rabbit and feathered Game too. We spend both nights sleeping under the stars. A Bushcraft tarp or tent can be provided\, alternatively\, you can bring your own. Instructors will be on hand to guide you throughout the weekend.  \n  \nYour host instructors will cover   a variety of Bushcraft skills\, including the following workshops; \n\nPrimitive fire making \nCampfire Baking\nWilderness cookery\, Including the preparation of fish and Game\nShelter making\nCamp crafting and much more. \n\n  \nAll of your meals are included in the price. But do please bring snacks or any creature comforts you might like throughout the weekend.  \n  \n** Vegetarian options are available. All participants under 18\, must be accompanied by an adult.  \n
