SUMMARY:Our Bushcraft Weekend Course
DESCRIPTION:Gather around the campfire and join us this weekend for a wonderful experience. Whether you are an absolute beginner or more experienced\, you are all very welcome here at basecamp. Our experience begins on Friday evening. After a welcome brief\, we will show you how to prepare and cook ‘Forest fish and chips’ – Rainbow trout cooked on the fire\, using the Canadian Fish flag method.  \nThroughout the weekend you will develop your Bush crafting skills\, learning how to become more self-sufficient in the wild. We will show you how to prepare and cook rabbit and feathered game too. We spend both nights sleeping under the stars. A Bushcraft tarp or tent can be provided\, alternatively you can bring your own. Instructor’s will be on hand to guide you throughout the weekend.  \n  \nYour host instructors will cover   a variety of Bushcraft skills\, including the following workshops; \n\nPrimitive fire making \nCampfire Baking\nWilderness cookery\, Including the preparation of fish and Game\nShelter making\nCamp crafting and much more. \n\n  \nAll of your meals are included in the price. But do please bring and snacks or creature comforts you might like throughout the weekend.  \n  \n** Vegetarian options are available. All participants must be 18 or over.  \n

DESCRIPTION:Gather around the Campfire with a warm drink. \n  \nWe start our day off with a welcome brief before heading back thousands of years in history to a time when fire was a relatively new thing.
