June 18 @ 9:30 am - 4:30 pm£69.00 – £89.00
** As seen on Channel 5’s – Five on the Farm – Wilderness Cookery Show
As you arrive at the woodland, it’s time to unwind from the stresses of modern-day life and reconnect with Mother Nature. Our day begins with coffee around the campfire (Yorkshire tea is also available) Followed by a guided tour of Bushcraft basecamp before we head on down to the main cookery area.
In our morning session, we will focus on Preparing and cooking rainbow trout. For this, we will use the Ancient, Canadian Fish Flag Method to ponass our fish over the coals of the fire. (As seen in our main picture) Don’t worry if you have never done this before, our experienced instructors are on hand to guide you through the whole process and put you at ease. You will also learn about the importance of Wild and sustainable fishing, and how to identify the key differences between the two. To accompany our delicious fish, we will serve our incredibly delicious medieval herby potato dish.
For dessert, it’s our camp favorite, Deep filled fruit pie and homemade custard.
Before departure, we all get together and return basecamp to mother nature. Leaving only footprints behind.
Be part of our next adventure.
