Gather around the campfire and join us this weekend for a wonderful experience. Whether you are an absolute beginner or more experienced, you are all very welcome here at basecamp. Our experience begins on Friday evening. After a welcome brief, we will show you how to prepare and cook ‘Forest fish and chips’ – Rainbow trout cooked on the fire, using the Canadian Fish flag method. 

Throughout the weekend you will develop your Bush crafting skills, learning how to become more self-sufficient in the wild. We will show you how to prepare and cook rabbit and feathered game too. We spend both nights sleeping under the stars. A Bushcraft tarp or tent can be provided, alternatively you can bring your own. Instructor’s will be on hand to guide you throughout the weekend. 

Your host instructors will cover   a variety of Bushcraft skills, including the following workshops;

• Primitive fire making 
• Campfire Baking
• Wilderness cookery, Including the preparation of fish and Game
• Shelter making
• Camp crafting and much more. 

All of your meals are included in the price. But do please bring and snacks or creature comforts you might like throughout the weekend.
