At The Bushcraft School, we believe outdoor education has the power to inspire, engage, and transform learning. Our Bushcraft Curriculum Programs is designed to support schools in delivering practical, hands-on outdoor learning that complements the national curriculum while building confidence, resilience, teamwork, and life skills in young people.
We train your staff to deliver The Bushcraft school program
We work directly with schools to train and support teachers in delivering bushcraft and outdoor learning within their own school environment. Our experienced instructors provide tailored guidance, lesson planning, and practical training so your staff can confidently teach a wide range of bushcraft skills safely and effectively.
Importantly, you do not need access to woodland or large outdoor spaces to deliver meaningful bushcraft education. Outdoor classrooms and learning environments can be created within existing school grounds, including playgrounds and smaller outdoor areas. We can help schools design and develop practical outdoor learning spaces that work for your environment and budget.
Our curriculum-linked programs include:
At The Bushcraft School, we offer a wide range of engaging, hands-on lessons designed to inspire curiosity, build confidence, and connect participants with the natural world. Our lessons are carefully designed to link with the national curriculum, while providing progressive learning opportunities that build skills, knowledge, and confidence over time.
Each lesson forms part of our wider Bushcraft Awards Scheme, allowing participants to work towards recognised achievements through practical outdoor learning and personal development. Our programs can be tailored for schools, educational groups, alternative provision settings, youth organisations, and enrichment programs, ensuring every participant receives an engaging and rewarding outdoor education experience.
